Hi there!
I promised yesterday that I would share the cards I made last week. I made a set of notecards for our pastor's wife. She is always sending out cards, and I knew she would love these. By keeping these all the same design, I was able to whip up a set of 10 of them very quickly...in less than an hour!
I used the Echo Park Sweet Girl papers...love this collection! The white background was embossed with the Quatrefoil embossing folder by Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby's brand). This is my new favorite embossing folder! Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where to get it! The monograms are the Mini Marvelous Monograms from Taylored Expressions. You just print them out - no stamping! I punched them out with a 1 1/4-inch circle punch and popped them up with a little foam tape. I didn't want to add too much dimension to these cards so that they could be easily mailed. I finished each one off with a strip of ribbon.
I didn't have any boxes on hand, so I packaged them up in a simple cellophane bag with a bow. Yes, this is a different set. A customer saw the first set on Facebook and liked them so much that she ordered a set. I remembered to take a picture of the packaging this time. :)
These make such a great gift, and it's a really great way to use up patterned paper scraps!
Thanks for stopping by!
