My Baby Shower

Saturday, April 27, 2013
Hi there!!
Wow, it has been over a month since I posted to my blog! Let me catch you up a little bit on what has been going on.

I am currently not designing for any companies and have really enjoyed the break from stamping. This past week I made the first cards I had made in over a month, and it was FUN to create just because I wanted to and not because I had to. I will post those cards to my blog later this week.

When I went to the doctor two weeks ago, she put me on bedrest due to some complications that I was having. :( I was heartbroken. I love teaching, and I felt that leaving work right now would be very hard with our big state test coming up in May. However, my employer was very understanding, and I know that I have to do what's best for Grayson! I go see my doctor again on Tuesday for a check-up. I'll be 36 weeks then.

At the end of April, my family hosted me an amazing baby shower! We got so many wonderful things for Baby Grayson...more than we ever could have imagined! Andrew and I were so very blessed!

My Mama and I

Look at all those gifts! We were so overwhelmed with everything, but we finally got it all organized and put away. There wasn't much at all that we had to buy...again, we were very blessed!

My Aunt Pam made this beautiful quilt!! I LOVE the cute animals and how it spells out his name!

My grandmother made him lots of burp pads, bibs, etc...such sweet, cute baby things that were handmade! I can't wait to use them!

I'll be back later in the week to share the cards I made this week, and I also want to share photos of Grayson's room! Thanks for stopping by today! :)

  1. Oh my goodness!! What a gorgeous quilt and burp rags and bibs!! Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures of you and your family at your baby shower. I sure hope everything is alright and make sure you get lots of rest. You are going to need it now because you surely won't get much once Grayson Arrives. What a beautiful name!!
    Good Luck.
