Meljen's Designs Challenge #112

Thursday, May 31, 2012
Hi everyone!! I apologize that this post is a little late going up today. The first week of summer vacation has gotten off to a rocky start in our house! We wound up in the emergency room late Monday night because Andrew had a kidney stone. So we have been dealing with that over the past few days. I hope this is no indication of what the rest of the summer holds!

I kinda forgot about making my card for this week's Meljen's Designs Challenge until the very last minute, and so I was in a hurry. This is not my best work, but I do adore that little clown image. When I was a kid, I was TERRIFIED of clowns. I guess this one isn't so bad, though. In fact, he's pretty cute!

This card layout is a Deconstructed Sketch. The image is one that will be released tomorrow by Meljen's Designs, so you're getting a little sneekie of it today! It's called Circus Clown. The challenge this week at Meljen's Designs is to use pearls on your card, and I added a lot of red pearls - including one for his nose! The paper is My Mine's Eye Lime Twist - Fly a Kite...love those bright colors! I added a ribbon to finish it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
