Hi there! I hope y'all are having a great weekend! I did some shopping yesterday and got some new storage pieces for my craft room. Now that I have been getting into card-making again, I have been doing some deep cleaning in there. One of my favorite new pieces is a ribbon holder. I will post a picture when I get it hung up on the wall.
I whipped up a birthday card for a friend last week, and I just love how it turned out! Her favorite color is purple, so I wanted to incorporate lots of purples. I used the Doodlebug Designs Kraft in Color paper pad. LOVE this paper! It is so much fun with all the different colors in simple patterns. The sentiment is from Signature Greetings by Papertrey Ink. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black onto white cardstock and embossed it with the Cuttlebug Quatrefoil embossing folder. I used some kraft-colored thread for a little stitching and finished my card off with some rhinestones and ribbon.
I am entering my card in these challenges:
Crazy 4 Challenges #276 - put a bow on it
Simon Says Challenge - special lady/girly
The Pink Elephant #288 - girly girl
That is it for me today!! Have a great evening! :)
