Hey there! So here's the crazy thing. All year during the school year, I cannot wait for summer so that I can stamp all day every day. Then, summer comes, and I have no mojo! Go figure. LOL!
Nothing gets your mojo going though like a good sketch, so I played along with this month's Sketch for You to Try. This is my second post this month using the Girly Girl Cookie set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Have I mentioned how CUTE this set is? Love it! :)
I definitely kept this a "girly girl" card. I used the Little Girl paper collection by Echo Park and stitched around the edges of my paper. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored it with Copic markers, and cut it out with Circle Nestabilities. I layered it on a scalloped circle. I used Glossy Accents on the nail polish bottle. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock that I cut out with the MFT Oval Tab Dienamics. I cut the flowers out of patterned paper with the MFT Flower and Leaf Trio Dienamics. I put a white brad in the center of them and topped the brad with Diamond Stickles for some girly sparkle. I finished my card off with some ribbon.
