Meljen's Designs Challenge #108

Thursday, May 3, 2012
Hi there!!

There is a new challenge at Meljen's Designs! This week's challenge is Anything Goes. Here's the card I created. My friend Joy asked me to make a reading-themed thank you card, and I knew that the Study Owl image would be just perfect! This FUN sketch is last week's Mojo Monday sketch. I love card sketches that allow me to use all my patterned paper scraps! I colored my image in Copic markers and layered it on a scalloped circle. I accented it with some Twinkles. The papers are from the October Afternoon Report Card collection, and I layered each square on a scalloped square. I added a black bow and a tag with "thanks" on it. I love how this card turned out, and I hope Joy and the person she give it to love it, too!!

I hope you'll play along with us this week!! Have a great day!
