TSG150 - Happy Birthday!

Hi there!! It's my turn to be Trendsetter of the Week at the There She Goes blog, and my challenge for today's TSG150 is to use metal embellishments on your card. Makea card or project using metal embellishments. From brads, to buckles, to pins,to spiral clips….show us your metal!

I had to make three cards yesterday, so I went the simple route with them, and Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #155 was the perfect simple layout, so I used it for this card. 

I used the Make a Wish stamp set, colored it with Copic markers, and then went over the "icing" with my new Spica glitter pens. For the metal embellishment, I added a silver brad to each corner of my image panel.  I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner and embossed the white cardstock with the Seeing Spots embossing folder. Karen's sketch used little flags at the bottom of the image panel, but I kinda have an obsession with using ribbon on my cards, and I really wanted to try the little ribbon loops. I recently pinned a card with ribbon loops like that on Pinterest, so I used three ribbons on my card. I love how it turned out!!
