Christmas Card Challenge #19

Sunday, April 8, 2012
Hi there!! Happy Easter to you!!

First of all, I would like to thank you sweet friends for following me over here to this blog. This transition has been such a hassle, but I really appreciate your support!

I have a card for you for this week's Christmas Card Challenge #19. The challenge is to use Flower Soft or Flocking on your card. I don't have any Flower Soft, but I did have some Polar White Flocking, so I used that to add some snow on my stamped Christmas tree and to the bottom of the tree.

The stamp set is Wings of Joy by Taylored Expressions. I accented the image panel with Cream Viva Pearl Pens. I embossed the Kraft background with the Snowflakes embossing folder and did lots of stitching on my card. This paper is one of my favorite Christmas collections - Echo Park's Seasons Greetings.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, but this layout is the Deconstructed Sketch #46, but I did change the long rectangular panel to an oval. I walked a little on the wild side with this sketch. ;)

That's it for me today. Be sure you hop over to the Christmas Card Challenges blog to see the beautiful inspiration from the design team!! Thanks for stopping by!
