Hi there!! Wow, it has been a LONG time since I posted...since July I believe! If you remember correctly, in May we were blessed with such a sweet little boy! Between being his mommy (the best job in the whole world!) and working as a 6th grade teacher, I have found very little (okay...more like none at all) time for stamping. There were times when I really contemplated just getting rid of everything. However, I started trying to pick it back up and remembered how much I loved making cards!
I made this card with Unscripted Sketches #230.
I kept it clean and simple using some My Mind's Eye patterned papers and a sentiment stamp from Taylored Expressions. I popped the papers up with foam tape and finished my card off with a trio of pearls.
Before I say good-bye today, here's a recent photo of my sweet little six-month-old boy!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Supplies:
Paper: cream, Smokey Shadow (PTI) cardstock, MME patterned papers
Stamps: Taylored Expressions
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Polka Dots Cuttlebug Embossing folder, foam tape, Kaisercraft pearls, corner rounder
gLAD TO SEE you back online! Your son is adorable. Nice card!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your little guy is already 6 months old! Wow, it's amazing how time has flown by.
ReplyDeleteYour card is great! A great sketch to use up some scraps, too! Blessings to you and your family.
Yay, Candace! You have had your priorities straight (your little guy is sweet!). But I'm glad you were able to figure out how to carve out some time for crafting. Creativity is good for the soul, and doing something that stays DONE (unlike most of the things involved in child-rearing!) is very important for your bien-etre. Congrats on the new DT! and hugs from Canada.
ReplyDeleteCandace I love you take on the US sketch this week! I am going to have to CASE this one for sure!
