Hi there! Wow, it has been so long since I last posted to my blog! I haven't given up card-making, but as I'm sure many of you can understand, it is definitely harder with a newborn. :) I try to get my house-cleaning and card-making done during naptime now - when I'm not taking a nap myself! Haha! My customers have been keeping me busy ordering monogrammed notecard sets, so even though I haven't posted to my blog lately, I have been doing a good bit of card-making!
A customer asked me to make a religious birthday card for her. I used the Flower Blocks 2 stamp set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I love this stamp set! I treated myself to it recently...not like I needed another stamp set *especially when I haven't been stamping lately* but y'all know how it is. :) I am actually really happy with how this card turned out! I am not good at coloring flowers at ALL, but I tried, and hopefully with practice I will get better! I wish you could see it because this flower has SO much sparkle! I used some Mix-ables Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze by MFT Stamps on it. So pretty! The paper is from Echo Park Country Drive. Of course, I did some stitching. I finished it off with some pearls and a ribbon. I put a religious birthday message and a Bible verse on the friend to fit my customer's request.
Alright, that's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by! :)
