Hi there!
I just love to make baby cards. Babies are so sweet! I'm getting so excited about our own little baby due to arrive in May! I know I mentioned that we were supposed to find out the gender of the baby, but I forgot to come back and report the results! We are having a precious baby BOY - Grayson Cole! Here he is waving at us. :)
I made this card for a girl from church who is due to have her baby next month. She is also having a little boy. The Bit of Stardust stamp set by There She Goes is my go-to set for baby cards. It is filled with sweet images and sentiments that are perfect for boy or girl cards.
I used Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #177 for my card layout. I LOVE this sketch...definitely adding it to my box of favorite sketches. The paper is from the October Afternoon Ducks in a Row collection. It's so old, but it's one of my favorites for baby cards. I pretty much just have scraps left, so I'm going to be sad when it's all gone. I did some stitching with some Kraft-colored thread, added some twine, and accented my image panel with a Cream Viva Pearl Pen. This card came together super fast since I did paper-piecing instead of coloring.
That's it! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! :)
