Hi there! Since it's the week of Thanksgiving, I have a sweet fall card to share with you today. I don't know about y'all, but I am so ready for all of those yummy Thanksgiving foods! :)
Have you played along yet with this month's Ribbon carousel Challenge?! We are now doing monthly challenges with a big prize at the end for one lucky challenge participant!
Each month we are giving away a Ribbon Carousel
to one of our randomly chosen challenge participants!
This month's theme is
Giving Thanks/Fall
Not only did I make this card for the RCC74 challenge, but I also made it for the MFT Stamps December Guest Designer Contest. I used the a la Modes Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch stamp and colored her up with Copic markers. I cut out the image with the MFT Rounded Banner STAX Die-namics and sponged the sky background with Aspen Mist VersaMagic Chalk Ink. I also added a grassy border to the bottom with my Copics. This patterned paper, Kitchen Spice by Bo Bunny, is OLD! I found it as I was digging through my paper bins and decided to use it. I really love the colors in the plaid piece. I did some stitching around the edges. To embellish my card, I added some Kaisercraft pearls and some jute twine from Ribbon Carousel. I finished it off by adding a sentiment that I stamped on a flag from the MFT First Place Ribbon Award Die-namics.
I love how this card turned out!
Ready to play?!
