Happy Birthday!

Tuesday, November 27, 2012
Hi there!! It's my turn for Trendsetter of the Week over at the There She Goes Blog, and for today's Wednesday Trends post, I am featuring an idea on how to decorate the inside of your card. I hope you'll hop over there and check it out

I used some of my newest papers, For the Record 2 by Echo Park...LOVE these papers!! I love the colors and the flowers. This is my new favorite! If you know me and paper, next week I'll have another new favorite. :)

I went with a clean and simple layout but embellished by doing a LOT of stitching and adding some pretty lace. I used the Sentimental Birthday stamp set by TSG and stamped the sentiment on a Nestabilities shape. I accented it with some pearls, which look white in the photo, but in reality, they're a pretty light blue color that matches the papers.

Here's the inside of my card! As you can see, I kept the elements the same for a uniform look. I don't always decorate the inside of my cards, but I love the finished look when I do!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! :)
