Hi there! I have some exciting news!
I am a finalist in the Taylored Expressions Last Card Standing Contest! I made the Top 15!
For the next round we had to create a friendship-themed card. We also had to include at least two patterned papers and ribbon. Here is what I came up with.
I used two different TE stamp sets - Discover Your Wings and A Year of Sweet Sentiments. I stamped the flowers in Colorbox Lime Pastel Chalk Ink and cut it out with Wonky Rectangles Nestabilities. I accented my image with some glitter. The patterned papers I used are from the Echo Park Country Drive collection. I embossed the pink background patterned paper with the Seeing Spots embossing folder and stamped the sentiment directly onto the paper and added a few rhinestones to draw attention to it. I added a border with the MFT Simply Scallops Border Die-namics. I did some stitching around the edges and finished my card off with some Kraft ribbon.
Thanks SO much for stopping by my blog today! Wish me luck! I need it...the competition is AMAZING...such TALENTED card-makers!! :)
