TSG Scent-sational Blog Hop

Hi there!! I'm so excited because us girls at There She Goes have another FABULOUS release week for you. These sets are the best yet! I LOVE all of them, and I know you will, too! :) 

Sniff…Sniff…..Can you smell what Melyssa has created for us this month?? It is SCENT-SATIONAL!!! Full of super cute sayings, and the most adorable skunks EVER, well, there really isn’t anything stinky about this set! Adorable AND punny…just how we like it!! 

Scent-sational is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 23 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

I have to be honest, y'all. I never thought I would think that a SKUNK was adorable. LOL! However, this set is full of the CUTEST little skunks ever!! I especially loved the one holding the flower, so I used him on my card today. I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Cardstock and colored him up with Copic markers. There was a LOT of white space around my image, so I played around with adding some grass and shading him with a blue Copic. I like the way that filled up some of that white space. I layered my image on a black scalloped rectangle.

The paper I used is from the Crate Paper Random collection. I added some flags to the bottom of my image. I stitched around the edges and stamped my sentiment at the bottom corner. It's very hard to read the sentiment. I wish I would've chosen one of the "bolder print" sentiments. However, it says, "things would stink without you." Hehe...too cute! I finished my card off with some black rhinestones and some cotton twill ribbon from Ribbon Carousel.
