The theme for VSN is journeys, so I decided to have a baby-themed challenge since having a baby is a big step in the journey through life. Of course, since journeys tend to have movement, my challenge is to incorporate movement/motion/travel into a baby card. For example, you could make
a card/project with a baby carriage, stroller, stork, a mobile (since it moves),
a rocking chair, etc.
I used this sweet baby carriage from the Bit of Stardust stamp set by There She Goes Clear Stamps for my card. I stamped it twice - once on PTI Vintage Cream and once on patterned paper - so that I could paper-piece the carriage. I stamped the sentiment underneath the carriage and accented the image panel with a Cream Viva Pearl Pen. The papers are Baby Steps by Simple Stories, and I stitched around my paper edges. I finished off my card with some cream ribbon.
My card layout is Freshly Made Sketches #39.
I hope you'll play along in my SCS Virtual Stamp Night challenge! Thanks for stopping by! :)
