Hi there!!
This week's Meljen's Designs Challenge #116 is to make a bookmark. I honestly think that in all my time of stamping, I have never made a bookmark, so this was fun!
I bought some of these paper-clip bookmarks awhile back with intentions to make bookmarks for gifts, and well, I never got around to it. So, I pulled out one of these to do my bookmark with.
I used the Pre-Colored Penpal Mouse image and cut it out with Circle Nestabilities. I layered it on a scalloped circle and hot-glued it to the paperclip base. I added a ribbon to finish it off.
Super easy! These would make great teacher gifts!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! :)
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI Harvest Gold, Stamper's Select White
Stamps: Meljen's Designs Pre-Colored Penpal Mouse
Embellishments: PTI ribbon
Other: paperclip bookmark (Etsy)
Super cute paper clip bookmark. You're right -- they would make great teacher gifts! Do you find that the hot glue allows the tags to really stay on? I've had some trouble in the past with it keeping things put.
