Hi there!
It's time for Christmas Card Challenge #28. This week's challenge is to use woodgrain on your card. Luckily, I had a few My Mind's Eye paper pads that had beautiful woodgrain sheets in them in several different colors. I decided to go with the traditional woodgrain. My striped paper is also My Mind's eye, and it is from the Lost and Found Christmas collection.
I stamped the sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa and cut it out with the MFT Clearly Sentimental Label Dienamics. I accented it with a Cream Viva Pearl Pen. The border was cut out with the MFT Dainty Lace Border Dienamics. I did some stitching all around the edges. I embossed the background with the snowflakes embossing folder, but after I covered it up with the woodgrain paper, you really can't tell it. Oh well! I finished my card off with a ribbon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll play along with us at Christmas Card Challenges!
