Hi there!! Do you use Pinterest? I *love* it! I'm not quite obsessed with it, but I do take a few minutes daily just to check for new pins that I might like. One of my boards is called "Card Inspiration," and a lot of times I browse through it for card-making ideas. I've had this card pinned for awhile because I really loved the clean and simple layout of it. I especially loved how she only embossed half of the cardstock. I struggle with CAS, so I pinned it hoping to have a chance someday to CASE the layout. Well, here's my CASE of it!!
I made this card for this week's Meljen's Designs Challenge #106 to make a spring card. I used the Tulip Buggies image by Meljen's Designs...such as CUTE image!! This card came together SO fast! I embossed the yellow cardstock with the Polka Dots embossing folder. The strip of patterned paper is from Country Drive by Echo Park. I stamped the sentiment on a little flag and accented it with a rhinestone. Easy peasy!!
That's it for me today! Be sure you hop over to the Meljen's Designs blog to see the rest of the challenge inspiration from the design team! We'd love to have you play along with us this week!
