Good morning! Happy Sunday to you!
I had a great day yesterday! I went shopping with my parents and my brother. I had a few gift cards to spend. Bath & Body Works had their soap on sale, and I got 10 bottles for $25 and change. Can't beat that! I already had some at home, so now I have enough to last me probably a year or more! LOL! I got a few things at Ulta and Kohl's, too. Oh, and Mama and I went in Charming Charlie for the first time. I posted on Facebook that it could be my new happy place...a whole store filled with tables of nothing but accessories and every table was a different color theme. Wow. Loved it! We ate lunch at the New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Company, and it was really good! That was my first time eating there. It was a good day! I even found time to make this Heath Bar Cake when I got home. It's a favorite of mine.
This week over at Christmas Card Challenges, we have a card recipe challenge for you! I will admit that I was a little scared at first, but my card came together just fine. I always just lots of patterned papers, stamps, and ribbons anyway!
The recipe is: 3 designer papers, 2 stamps, 1 ribbon/button.
I used the Holly Jolly stamp set by There She Goes, and the sentiment and the snowman are two different stamps, so that works for the challenge. The papers are from the Echo Park Holly Jolly line. I added a scalloped border, Liquid Pearls, rhinestones, and a ribbon to finish it off!
That's it for me! Hop over to the Christmas Card Challenges blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
