{Meljen's Designs} Challenge #102

Thursday, March 22, 2012
Hi there!! Today I have a card to share with you for Meljen's Designs Challenge #102. The challenge is to make an all-white card. The only color allowed is in the image.

Since I didn't use any patterned paper at all, I decided to add lots of texture to my white cardstock by using several different embossing folders. I used: Seeing Spots, Swiss Dots, and D'Vine Swirls. The image is Birthday Cupcake - Colored. This card was sooo easy to assemble since the image was pre-colored for me! Love that! I added some White Opal Liquid Pearls to my image panel. I stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment onto the cardstock before I embossed it. I did lots of stitching, again just to add some texture to all of that white, and I finished my card off with a white grosgrain ribbon.

The layout is Mojo Monday 233, and I flipped it to fit my image.

Be sure you hop on over to the Meljen's Designs blog to see the rest of the inspiration from the design team! We'd sure love to have you play along with us this week!! :)
